I stopped in thinking it was just a small shop I’d browse for a minute, but actually, I ended up really liking it. They had some cute little finds, and I managed to pick up a few gifts for the kids without it feeling like a big hassle.

We had a really fun time, and everyone learned something along the way. It was simple, enjoyable, and a nice experience overall

We went to Discovery Place for the IMAX, and it ended up being such a fun little outing for our family. I used to love going to science museums as a kid, so bringing my own kids there felt kind of special. The screen was massive, and the sound really pulled you into the movie. The seats were comfortable enough, and the staff were friendly and pointed us in the right direction. My kids stayed interested the entire time, which says a lot. We’d definitely go back for another movie.

I actually had a really good time at Discovery Place. The vibe was fun without being too loud or overwhelming, which I appreciated. There were lots of families around, and the staff seemed relaxed and helpful. Everything felt clean, and it was busy in a nice way, not stressful. I liked that we could just wander around without feeling rushed. I’d definitely go back.

My sister and I went to a special event at Discovery Place last weekend, and we had a great time. The website made it really easy to find the details we needed, and buying tickets was simple, which already made me feel confident going in. The event itself was fun, well organized, and not overly packed. The staff were super friendly whenever we had questions, and it was nice to see how much there was to actually do instead of just wandering around. The only small downside was that parking took a little while, but that’s kind of a Charlotte thing. Overall, Discovery Place did a great job, and I’d definitely feel good recommending their events to someone else.

We went on a Tuesday morning and it was actually chill? There were a few school groups around, so I was kind of expecting it to feel hectic, but we still got to try everything without really waiting much. Maybe we just picked a good time, but crowd-wise it was way better than I thought it would be. I’d definitely go again.

I mean, we were really looking forward to the animal encounters, but it was kind of a letdown. The staff seemed rushed, so we didn’t really get much time to enjoy anything, and the animals barely came out, which was a bummer. My kids were, like, trying to stay excited, but by the end they were disappointed.

We had a fun time overall, but something about it felt a little off once we noticed the bathrooms and a few tables weren’t very clean. It’s a cool place, I just expected it to be kept up a bit better.

The food and drinks were decent when we stopped by. My kids absolutely demolished the pretzel and popcorn like they hadn’t eaten in days, so that was a win. The line also moved surprisingly fast, which felt like a small miracle. The prices were a little dramatic for what we got, but that’s kind of what you expect at places like this. Overall, it was fine for a quick bite and got the job done.

I had a really good visit to Discovery Place. i expected the staff to just point us in the right direction or give basic answers, but they were way more knowledgeable than that. My kid kept asking all kinds of random questions about the exhibits, and everyone was patient and genuinely helpful. It made the whole visit feel easier and more fun than I was expecting. We decided to get the family membership, and I wasn’t totally sure at first if we’d use it enough. Then one rainy weekend, when the kids were bouncing off the walls and we needed something to do, we went for a visit. By the time we left, I remember thinking, okay, this was actually worth it. The kids had a blast and still managed to find things they hadn’t done before. Now I really like that we can just go without having to think about buying tickets every single time. It makes it feel more relaxed, like an easy outing instead of a whole big plan. If you live close by and think you’ll go more than once or twice, I’d say the membership makes a lot of sense.

Had my kid’s birthday party there and everyone had a really good time. the staff was nice and helpful, which made things easier. Only thing is it felt a little rushed near the end when we were wrapping up, But overall it was still a good experience.

My toddler did like it, so that’s a plus, but I felt a little misled by what I thought I was getting. It wasn’t exactly what I expected, even though it still kept my kid happy

I took my kids here and they had the best time. There were so many hands-on activities where they could touch things, build, experiment, and actually get involved instead of just walking around looking at displays. It was really well set up and kept them engaged the whole time. We ended up staying way longer than we planned, which is always a good sign. If you’re looking for a fun place that really keeps kids curious and excited, this is definitely worth a visit.

I went with my kid’s class and, overall, it was a really fun day. It was well organized too, which I always appreciate on school trips because, you know, kids can scatter in about two seconds. A few areas got a little crowded here and there, but the kids didn’t seem to care much, they were too busy having a great time. I kept thinking we’d hit a snag, then somehow everything just kept moving along. Definitely a good experience.

I went to Discovery Place with my nephew and we had a good time overall. They did have elevators and ramps, and the staff seemed like they were trying to be helpful, which I appreciated. Some of the signs were a bit confusing though, and when certain areas got crowded, it was harder to move around than I expected. Still, my nephew enjoyed it, so... yeah, mixed but mostly positive.

I went to Discovery Place last weekend, and I have to say, the place was in really good shape. I’ve been to enough spots like this where it feels like cleanliness is treated as an afterthought, so I was a little surprised in a good way.
The bathrooms were clean, the floors looked like they were actually being maintained, and I didn’t notice broken or neglected stuff sitting around like you sometimes do elsewhere. Even the busy areas felt organized, which made a big difference.
You can tell the staff is keeping up with the building instead of just letting things slide. It made the whole visit easier and more comfortable. Definitely 5 stars from me...
